Benjamin Karr studied entertainment design at Art Center College of Design, Arts at Indiana University, and holds an MFA in character animation from the Academy of Art University. At AAU, Ben was fortunate enough to be taught by Pixar animators: Angus MacLae, Scott Clark, Mike Wu, and Adam Burke, in all three of the "Pixar" classes. Since then, Ben has worked for: Rhythm and Hues, Disney, and Sony Imageworks. Ben has animated on a number of films, to include: The Golden Compass, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Bolt, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Alice In Wonderland. Additionally, Ben teaches various Maya and animation classes at a wide range of schools / universities.
